Scouts is for boys and girls aged 10 to 14 years.
Scouts is where youth can use and improve their skills by exploring the outdoors and learning practical indoor skills. Leadership is encouraged, especially as a scout works towards their Chief Scout, the highest badge they can obtain.
Halswell has three scout troops:
Pioneer - Monday Night 7:00-9:00pm
Explorer - Tuesday Night 7:00-9:00pm
Te Aorangi - Thursday Night 7:00-9:00pm
