Scouts Aotearoa offers all young people a one month free membership trial after which term fees apply. Note that fees vary between Scout Groups.
Halswell currently charges the following (as at July 2026):
- Term Fees: $125.00 per youth member
We also charge a one off joining (investiture) fee for each section. The below prices are estimates for each section level, and cover initial uniform shirt, scarf, woggle, badge-set, and hand-book (optional for Scouts and Venturers) plus the National Scouts Aotearoa first Term Levy:
- Keas: $176.00
- Cubs: $180.00
- Scouts: $178.00 or $158 without handbook
- Venturers: $178.00 or $158 without handbook
Please Note: We charge a modest fee for youth transitioning between sections. This will cover additional badges, updated woggle, and hand-book if applicable. Extra charges will also apply if a new shirt is needed (typically around $40-$50 for the shirt)
